Russell Baxter is an LPC-S with over a decade of experience building and running a thriving counseling practice. He grew it from a single-provider operation into a multi-location group practice, navigating the full spectrum of challenges that come with growth—insurance contracting, billing systems, cash flow, staffing, and operational complexity.

Through that journey, Russell consistently saw talented counselors struggle not with clinical work, but with the administrative burden that pulls them away from it. Billing confusion, denials, and inefficiencies often became barriers to sustainability and growth.

Vera Billing was created to remove those barriers.

As a counselor and practice owner, Russell understands how insurance and billing decisions impact real practices and real people. His mission is to help other counselors build practices that are financially healthy, operationally sound, and sustainable—without losing sight of why they entered the field in the first place.
